Telematics Intern - Summer 2026
About The Position

The Telematics (iOPS) Intern will be responsible for projects relating to the iOPS Telematics platform and Oshkosh Aerotech embedded equipment. This position has no drawing or design components. This is a paid internship - 40 hours per week for 8 - 10 weeks in an office environment; this is not a remote position.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required due to government contracts
- Candidates for this position should be pursuing or have acquired a degree in Mechanical Engineering /Computer Engineering/Embedded Systems
- Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment
Nice To Haves
- Preferred candidates will have experience in the aviation/ ground support equipment industry
Responsibilities
- Work with onboard systems to collect data
- Develop portable tools for data collection
- Portal testing
- Compile data and correlate meaning to events
- Propose simulator activities
- Develop simulation activity
- Present simulator activities as a story via iOPS portal
- Dashboard customization
- Process documentation
- Fleet monitoring
- Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion
