About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Manager II to lead and oversee Network Services operations within a complex enterprise environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of network infrastructure while supporting key initiatives and guiding cross-functional collaboration. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic oversight and operational execution across networking, telecommunications, and security platforms.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of supervisory or management experience, including leading teams, setting direction, and driving performance
  • Demonstrated ability to promote collaboration, accountability, and team success

Nice To Haves

  • 7+ years of experience with Cisco VoIP administration, design, and maintenance
  • 5+ years managing networking teams in highly complex enterprise environments
  • Experience supporting 24x7x365 network, voice, and video operations
  • Strong background in enterprise networking technologies, infrastructure operations, and security integration

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight of Network Services operations, including WAN, LAN, wireless, SD-WAN, and network security platforms
  • Oversee daily operational activities, including incident management, problem resolution, and service availability
  • Act as escalation point for high-priority network and infrastructure issues
  • Coordinate and prioritize workload across Network Services teams, including infrastructure and security functions
  • Support and drive key initiatives, including:
  • SD-WAN implementation and optimization
  • Network monitoring and observability tools such as ThousandEyes and AppDynamics
  • Security integrations including Secure Workload, next-generation firewalls, and identity services
  • Manage vendor relationships and provide oversight of network-related services and contracts
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in change management processes, ensuring proper documentation and approvals
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure Engineering, Data Center, Telecom, and Security teams on cross-functional initiatives
  • Provide status reporting, risk identification, and mitigation planning to leadership
  • Maintain and update network architecture documentation, processes, and operational procedures
  • Support knowledge transfer and continuity planning for the return of the permanent Network Services Manager
