About The Position

CompTech is seeking a qualified Telecom Specialist. This position is in support of DLA Network Operations (NetOps) Engineering Support Services Task Order (TO) on which we are bidding. Any offer will be contingent on TO Award. Scope of Work Responsible for leading and directing technical work across assigned projects. Conducts a variety of analyses, prepares detailed documentation, and delivers briefings and presentations as required. Provides on-site leadership for installation activities and works independently to install, operate, maintain, configure, troubleshoot, and repair IT systems, including devices, circuits, cables, components, software, and end-user equipment. Supports the development and management of project plans, reviewing task performance and deliverables for accuracy, compliance with design requirements, and adherence to schedules. Coordinates with Infrastructure Engineering teams to review technical drawings, validate cable plans, and align cable and power infrastructure requirements for LAN hardware installations. Collaborates with the Vendor PM, COTRs, and government user representatives to ensure technically sound solutions and high levels of user satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Must have 8years of telecommunications experience with at least 7 years of local area network experience
  • Clearance: Top Secret
  • DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II or IAM II
  • Computing Environment: CCNP or CCNP-E
