About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill a Telecom Project Manager position for our client in Houston, TX. Duration: 12 months About the Role: Lead environment planning and management for large, complex telecom applications (100+ interconnected apps). Coordinate upgrades, automate sanity tests, manage defects, and ensure testing teams have stable, reliable environments. Mentor junior staff and drive process improvements across the team.

Requirements

• Project management experience with large-scale telecom applications.
• Strong coordination skills across multiple environments and teams.
• Analytical problem-solving for defects and system issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with environment strategy and full-year planning.
• Sanity test automation and defect triage leadership.
• Knowledge of current telecom technologies and testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute environment availability aligned with release schedules.
• Manage system upgrades, daily sanity testing reports, and triage calls.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve hardware and application issues.
• Analyze defects and implement improvements to minimize downtime.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering collaboration and best practices.
