About The Position

The Senior Telecom Engineer supports Telecommunications Services under the Infrastructure Services Line of Business, deploying IP telephony, managing circuit inventory, and diagnosing outages to enhance reliability and minimize downtime while transitioning from legacy systems to VoIP. Utilizing IP telephony deployment and circuit inventory management, this role monitors VoIP quality and handles analog/data circuit disconnections. Telecom outage diagnostics ensure swift resolution with providers. By preparing procurement packages, the Senior Telecom Engineer aligns with performance requirements to implement comprehensive circuit management, removing old circuits and reducing costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, One-and-one- half (1.5) years of additional experience can substitute for one (1) year of a typical degree program
• Minimum 10 years' experience with the role/responsibilities listed above
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust
