About The Position

About the role
The Junior Telecom Consultant, will play a key role in supporting the delivery of mission-critical telecom design projects at Ares. This position is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end telecom design process on assigned projects while driving production efficiency across the design team.

You will collaborate closely with professional designers and project managers, ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with defined scopes of work, schedules, quality standards, and client expectations. This role requires a hands-on technical contributor who can also provide leadership, coordination, and quality oversight within a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the telecom design process for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with project scopes, schedules, deliverables, and specifications.
• Assist in leading telecom projects alongside a Senior Telecom Consultant/Project Manager from design kickoff through completion.
• Perform quality‑control reviews of design documents and deliverables to ensure compliance with project and industry standards.
• Use Bluebeam to complete design markups, track changes, and support multidisciplinary coordination efforts.
• Manage and participate in project meetings with internal teams, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Respond to RFIs, RFQs, and other project‑related inquiries.
• Conduct site walks, page turns, and site visits as required to verify design intent and field conditions.
• Actively participate in BIM coordination with MEP trades, including managing model reviews, clash coordination, and related documentation.
• Coordinate closely with project teams to ensure efficient communication and timely issue resolution.
• Support other team members as needed to drive overall project success.
• Maintain regular check‑ins with management, particularly for fast-paced or critical projects.
• Stay current with industry certifications, technologies, codes, and standards—including maintaining RCDD and DCDC certifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support project and team objectives.
