About The Position

Support low voltage Choctaw Nation cabling standards and installations for Telcom connectivity including non-VoIP phones systems like Nortel including Carrier circuits, and POT’s lines. You will report to the Director of Network Services.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• No college degree or technical Certifications
• 3+ years of Telecom experiences with installing and troubleshooting fiber and copper cabling.
• Work on a ladder while pulling cable.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, drive 3 hours, and carry 75lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Prefer 2+ years working on/with phone systems like Nortel.

Responsibilities

• You will pull fiber and copper cables in different environments.
• Terminate both copper and fiber cables.
• Lead in the installation of Telecom projects and tasks
• Install and support Nortel phones systems.
• Work with Carriers and other third-party vendors supporting Telecom.
• Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
