Requirements
- Candidates must be committed to contributing to the mission, culture, and values of the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne as well as:
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be cleared to drive a bus.
- Excellent communication, supervisory, and organizational skills.
- Excellent human relation skills and enthusiasm.
- Basic math skills and demonstrated recordkeeping proficiency.
- An elevated level of organization, flexibility, and ability to handle difficult situations effectively.
- Ability to relate to, welcome, and communicate with diverse groups of people regardless of age, race, economic status, religion, or cultural differences.
Responsibilities
- Develop: Create and distribute program rules, guidelines, and handbooks to ensure safe and consistent program delivery.
- Evaluate: Track participation and outcomes to help ensure program effectiveness and continuous improvement.
- Support: Assist with marketing, participant communication, and responding to questions or concerns.
- Lead: Directly oversee and run signature teen programs (Youth and Government and Teen Leaders Club)
