About The Position
THREE VILLAGE CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT Stony Brook, NY 11790 ANTICIPATED VACANCY 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR Probationary Technology Teacher (Grades 6-8) Must be NYS Technology Education Certified. Teaching responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Deliver engaging middle-school technology lessons aligned with curriculum standards Teach coding concepts and programming skills Facilitate hands-on learning experiences using robotics platforms, drones, 3D printing, and STEM design challenges Integrate digital citizenship, online safety, and responsible technology use into instruction Develop project-based learning activities that foster creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration Maintain and manage technology equipment, tools, and classroom resources Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback to support growth Collaborate with colleagues to support school-wide STEM initiatives and enrichment programs Stay current with emerging educational technologies and industry trends to enhance curriculum and instruction Salary is in accordance with the teachers' contract.
