About The Position

Under the direction of the assigned supervisor, perform setup,maintenance troubleshooting, technical support, and repair on user -based systems on local area networks including some server support. Perform diagnostics on networked microcomputer hardware and specialized operating systems including, but not limited to , desktop platforms, mobile platforms, and cloud-based platforms. Perform basic technical support and help functions that relate to servers and networks.

Requirements

  • Two years of college level course work in microcomputer hardware and software components, microcomputer operating systems and data communications software; or one year of college level course work in the same areas and two years of additional job training or experience in related field.
  • Additional experience may substitute for higher education.
