At Kirkland & Ellis, the Technology Support Analyst II plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of PC hardware and software within the firm. This position is responsible for the day-to-day support of personal computers and related systems, which includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading these systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in high-pressure situations, effectively managing multiple priorities while maintaining a disciplined yet flexible approach. The role requires the ability to work independently, especially when remote work is necessary, and may involve supporting remote trial setups as well as providing phone support to customers through the Global IT Service Desk when needed. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in delivering prompt, professional, and courteous service in response to customer requests, problems, and queries. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, along with strong interpersonal and customer service abilities. The candidate must be comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels of the firm and collaborating with other technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve desktop computing issues. Additionally, the role includes assisting with conference technology setup and support, requiring participation in firm-wide maintenance windows and occasional overtime during technology rollouts. It is important to note that this position requires the individual to be in the office 100% of the time, ensuring that they are available for immediate support and collaboration with colleagues.
