About The Position

The Tech Specialist is a member of our client’s Collaboration Services Team. The initial focus of this role will be to support the setup, configuration, and programming of Microsoft Teams Room (MTR) Systems and BYOD Conference Room AV solutions, along with new application servers in support of the client’s global Crestron room scheduling solution. This will include the update of the software application and configuration of MTR Devices and room scheduling panels. The ability to troubleshoot is essential. The role will require escalation to appropriate parties, including manufacturers. The role requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Technical aptitude and ability to be a self-driven learner with credible understanding network environments.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Microsoft Project and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience in Microsoft Teams Rooms/Conference Room AV Standards
  • Experience with Application Servers and SQL Server Database
  • Technical experience in configuring large scale Crestron Room Schedulers within an enterprise
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange/Office 365 with Exchange Web Services (EWS)
  • Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019
  • Associates Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 2 - 5 years of experience with Information Technology, as well as customer service, preferably in a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

  • Key technical support resource for the server and application upgrade of the client room scheduling solution.
  • Provide run the business support of the client’s global hybrid conference solution. This includes:
  • Initial response to service issues with the scheduling service
  • Programming the server for new panel additions
  • Escalation for service as required
  • Coordination of new implementations with project teams
  • Management of the scheduling solutions asset and informational records
  • Management of end user training and user guide documentation for the scheduling system.
  • Manage client processes for device management
  • Assist in the set up and testing of new AV and Collaboration technologies.
  • Will require coordination of risk assessments with IT security team.
  • Ability to work with key client contacts and vendors globally.
  • Other duties assigned as assigned
