About The Position

The Role Do you want to join a team focused on developing Next-Gen capabilities in Technology Risk? The Enterprise Technology Risk & Analytics (ETRA) group is seeking a passionate, driven professional to join the team! In the role, you will: Help enhance and manage the risk core program activities, including defining and executing the technology risk strategy, data program, and working with Technology, Operations and Risk teams to holistically manage technology risk related to Data, and Artificial Intelligence. Work closely with the various ETRA Business Unit teams and Centers of Excellence which includes performing proactive risk and control assessments, analyzing and where applicable, driving automation solutions for technology controls and overseeing remediation plans. Provide appropriate risk and controls consulting on technology risk and governance activities and engage with Technology teams, Senior leadership, and Internal and External Audit teams. The Team You will report to the Data and AI Risk Center of Excellence Director and Lead. The team oversees the management of controls, and the mitigation of risk related to sensitive data, data storage subsystems (such as relational database, data lake and warehouse technologies) and controls related to data management and governance. You will also harness AI-driven capabilities and partner closely with Product Managers, Risk, and Data Scientist to review a wide array of technologies from a vendor, and technology risk perspective. Technology Risk is part of the broader Legal, Risk and Compliance (LRC) group and partners with Corporate Audit, Enterprise Compliance, and Security to protect the interests of our customers, our employees, and Fidelity’s brand. You will also work closely with Fidelity technology and business owners, Fidelity Data Architecture, Enterprise Digital Compliance, Business Unit Operations Risk and Compliance teams, Enterprise Cybersecurity (ECS), Information Security Officers (ISOs), the Corporate Audit team, Fidelity external auditors and regulators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in technology, computer science, or related field (or currently pursuing).
  • Interest or Experience in learning about technology risk, data management, and AI concepts.
  • Basic understanding of technology systems or willingness to learn (e.g., databases, cloud platforms).

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred - technical abilities in multiple areas (e.g., technology infrastructure and application controls, Database Administration, Snowflake, cyber security, access management, cloud, resiliency, etc.)
