About The Position

This role involves leading strategic oversight of technology and business resiliency initiatives for organizational products, ensuring risk mitigation and compliance across the enterprise. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain resiliency strategies and recovery plans, identify non-compliance issues, and drive remediation strategies. It also involves working with product owners to ensure adherence to resiliency requirements throughout the application lifecycle, communicating emerging requirements to technology teams and leadership, and coordinating technology resiliency testing. The role includes conducting reviews to ensure testing evidence meets standards, addressing gaps, partnering with teams for technology maintenance, patch management, operating system reboot control procedures, and ensuring capacity plans are established and quarterly attestations are completed, addressing capacity headroom breaches. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Emergency Management, Cybersecurity, Information Systems Administration, Information Technology (IT), or any related field of study plus 7 years (84 months) of experience in the job offered or as Technology Resiliency and Business Continuity, Technology Risks & Services, Line of Business Resiliency, Contingency and Capacity, Business Continuity and Security, or related occupation.
  • Alternatively, a Master's degree in Medical Technology, Emergency Management, Cybersecurity, Information Systems Administration, Information Technology (IT), or any related field of study plus 5 years (60 months) of experience in the job offered or as Technology Resiliency and Business Continuity, Technology Risks & Services, Line of Business Resiliency, Contingency and Capacity, Business Continuity and Security, or related occupation.
  • Five (5) years of experience with creating and maintaining Business Resiliency Plans.
  • Five (5) years of experience with conducting Business Impact Analysis through quantitative and qualitative criteria, to assess the impact of a process resulting from an incident or event, with data analysis output resulting in the establishment of recovery timelines.
  • Five (5) years of experience with planning, coordinating, monitoring comprehensive Business Resiliency Tests, including Recovery Strategy Testing and Simulation Exercises.
  • Five (5) years of experience with tracking crisis events, including developing and executing response procedures.
  • Five (5) years of experience with maintaining data of critical assets, recovery timelines, and operating levels.
  • Five (5) years of experience with implementing technology and business resiliency strategies and recovery plans.
  • Five (5) years of experience with conducting training and awareness programs for employee preparedness, business continuity, and emergency scenarios.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic oversight of technology and business resiliency initiatives for organizational products, ensuring risk mitigation and compliance across the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain resiliency strategies and recovery plans.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify non-compliance issues and drive remediation strategies.
  • Work with product owners to ensure adherence to all Resiliency requirements throughout the application lifecycle.
  • Engage with technology teams and leadership to communicate and clarify emerging requirements.
  • Coordinate with Application Teams to execute technology resiliency testing.
  • Conduct reviews to ensure testing evidence meets standards, addressing any identified gaps or concerns.
  • Partner teams to address technology maintenance requirements, ensuring patch management and operating system reboot control procedures are current.
  • Work with teams to ensure capacity plans are established and quarterly attestations are completed, addressing capacity headroom breaches.
