Job Summary We are seeking a sharp, analytical, and business-minded Technology Strategy and Operations Analyst to support the strategic and operational priorities of the Technology Department. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving operational excellence through data and process improvements. You’ll assist in managing the department’s financial processes, contribute to executive-level reporting, and provide structured analysis and insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement across the technology organization. To succeed in this role, you’ll need strong analytical skills, excellent written communication skills, and a proactive mindset. You’ll work closely with technology leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure that the department’s initiatives are well-supported, well-communicated, and aligned with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Business Administration, Industrial or Process Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in consulting, business operations, financial analysis, technology strategy, or a related area.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong working knowledge of Outlook and the Microsoft 365 suite
  • Communication: Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to create executive-level content and present complex information clearly.
  • Analytical Acumen: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to structure ambiguous problems, analyze data, and synthesize insights.
  • Ownership Mentality: Takes initiative, follows through on commitments, and seeks opportunities to add value beyond the task at hand.
  • Organizational Agility: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Familiarity with Generative AI (ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, etc.) to streamline tasks, enhance analysis, or improve communication is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and tracking of departmental goals, KPIs, and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide analytical support to technology leadership, including preparing data-driven insights and executive-level presentation materials.
  • Draft executive-level content for presentations, reports, and communications that clearly articulate complex ideas and recommendations
  • Assist in the technology budgeting process, including forecasting, variance analysis, and invoice approvals.
  • Partner with technology expense owners to support contract lifecycle ensuring timely renewals, accurate usage tracking, and alignment with budget and operational needs.
  • Responsible for overseeing and managing software assets, including tracking software licenses and usage, license inventory management, and conducting regular audits of software assets and usage.
  • Track departmental expenditures and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Maintain accurate headcount and hiring data, supporting workforce planning and reconciliation efforts.
  • Assist with technology governance and change management initiatives that enhance operational resilience and agility.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that streamline workflows and enhance team effectiveness.
  • Work cross-functionally with technology and business teams to gather input, align stakeholders, and support the execution of strategic and operational initiatives.
