The Technology Operations Administrator is responsible for ensuring the company’s technological environment is reliable, secure, and well-supported. Coordinate systems, vendors, and internal users to ensure technology effectively supports day-to-day business operations. Lead by example and support the Vision, Purpose, and Core Values of the company through all interactions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-year Associate’s Degree
  • Three to five years’ experience in computer network maintenance.
  • CompTIA A+ Technician
  • Microsoft 365
  • Strong organization and coordination
  • Foundational IT knowledge (hardware, software, networks)
  • Vendor management and communication
  • Process documentation discipline
  • Business-focused, reliability-driven mindset
  • Working SQL knowledge (basic queries, data validation, reporting support)
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required.
  • A person in this position must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Due to the security nature of our business, an offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure day-to-day reliability and availability of systems (computers, networks, phones).
  • Coordinate maintenance, updates, and monitoring.
  • Act as primary liaison with IT vendors and service providers.
  • Coordinate support, troubleshooting, and upgrades; escalate key decisions.
  • Coordinate hardware/software setup and replacements.
  • Maintain documentation, inventory, backups, and security basics.
  • Manage onboarding/offboarding (accounts, access, equipment).
  • Oversee security training, phishing simulations, and awareness efforts.
  • Track completion, reinforce policies, and escalate risks.
  • Support evaluation and use of AI and automation tools.
  • Manage access, configuration, and responsible usage standards.
  • Guide users and escalate technical or compliance concerns.
  • Align technology with business needs and priorities.
  • Support budgeting, lifecycle planning, and standardization.
  • Provide Tier 1–2 support and escalate as needed.
  • Create user documentation and assist with training.
  • Document systems and recurring issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and reliability.
