About The Position

The Technology Manager I is responsible for the following: dealing with the full SDLC process for SEI’s data movement technologies; working with members of the development team to accomplish assigned projects and tasks; providing subject-matter expertise on core applications and application process, including leading efforts for 3rd level support on critical production issues; participating in release and implementation projects; promoting Agile methodologies and DevOps principles; understanding the underlying technology and business use cases for the system for assigned projects; and working with Product Management, Product Owners, and technical Business Owners to help ensure strategy and execution alignment, including the development of a product roadmap.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field plus seven (7) years of experience working in information technology within the financial services industry.
  • 7 years of experience in each of the following: Agile processes and Atlassian products; with Advent Geneva; working with onshore and offshore development resources to coordinate releases in a fast-paced environment; development management and information technology architecture design and implementation experience; and data processing concepts and financial industry or banking operations practices, which must include experience processing data from consuming application through a messaging architecture to consuming applications/data warehouses.
  • 5 years of experience in each of the following: managing development projects from design through implementation; financial software products, must include experience with trading, accounting, and/or settlement platforms; Docker containers; Kubernetes; and Kafka.
