About The Position

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant / Program Manager to play a critical role in delivering program and Toll Technology services for a large New Jersey based Transportation project. This position offers the opportunity to lead complex infrastructure programs that directly impact regional transportation and safety.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree plus ten years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership.
• Experience in Highway Transportation Toll Technology

Nice To Haves

• 20+ years of experience.
• Specialize in Project Management, NJDOT Capital Project Delivery Process, NJDOT Standards/guidelines, Toll Technology.
• Proven experience managing project controls, risk mitigation, and contract administration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and nurturing client relationships to drive business growth and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned programs and projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Oversee procurement and contracting processes, including drafting scopes, reviewing proposals, and managing vendor performance.
• Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, and progress reports; monitor key performance indicators to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Identify potential risks, implement mitigation strategies, and manage change orders to maintain project integrity.
• Serve as the primary liaison between contractors, design consultants, municipalities, and regulatory agencies; facilitate clear and timely communication.
• Review design and construction documents for compliance with standards and client requirements; provide technical guidance to resolve issues.
• Conduct site visits to bridge facilities to monitor construction activities, verify progress, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Track and report on program financials, ensuring profitability and adherence to AECOM’s Program Management agreement.
• Work closely with project staff and AECOM program management team to troubleshoot challenges and drive successful outcomes.
