About The Position

THIS POSITION IS FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR The salary listed is based on the 2025-2026 school year salary schedule and is subject to change for the 2026-2027 school year. TITLE: Technology Integration Coordinator POSTION TYPE: PARA HIRING SPECIFICATIONS: Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. Significant experience with use of a variety of educational technology. Desired Education and Experience: Working knowledge of Infinite Campus Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to prioritize assigned tasks. BASIC FUNCTION: Provide technology services for the school and support staff and students’ technology needs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Perform basic computer hardware, software and network troubleshooting, maintenance, and simple repairs if necessary (within the scope of and with the intent to train staff to perform these tasks for themselves). Escalate to Technology Operations beyond scope of basic troubleshooting. Work in partnership with the building administration, faculty, and staff to develop schedules for special training opportunities (one-on-one, small group, lab setting, etc.) for professional development. Access and direct school personnel to digital resources, web-based resources, manuals and other materials on the use and implementation of software programs, computer hardware and technology integration Works directly with teachers and staff to implement technology in the classroom as needed to support instructional goals. Manage the building technology distribution, collection, tracking and inventory. Maintains an accurate inventory of device technology (i.e. laptops, wi-fi hot spots) using Technology inventory management software and protocols. Attend meetings, training sessions, webinars, and other activities as required by the Technology Department and/or Building Principal. Serve as the primary contact within the building to the Technology department. Promotes the use of technology by students, staff, and support professionals at their building. Evaluates and provides feedback to Technology Operations on potential new technology hardware/software. Prepares a safe environment for learning and provides instruction for personal and equipment safety. Provides support on how to use instructional technology, i.e. Infinite Campus, Canvas, etc. ADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (for every DMPS position): Attend work on a prompt and regular basis. Maintain confidentiality. Maintain satisfactory and harmonious working relationships with the public, students, and other employees. Assist with other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
