About The Position

The Technology Infrastructure Specialist will join the talented team at the Riverview School District. You will provide support to our customers to ensure effective problem identification and resolution of software and hardware issues. This position is responsible for the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of desktop and laptop computers, mobile devices and printers used throughout the educational institution. This position also supports datacenter servers and network infrastructure at an entry level. Who we are: We are Questeq and we stand for quality. Requirements

  • PC Security Administration/Update experience.
  • Active Directory experience.
  • Mobile device management experience, SCCM preferred.
  • Experience with virtual host hypervisors preferred (Hyper-V or VMWare)
  • Associates degree in technically related field preferred.
  • Experience providing computer and network support.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Must possess extensive troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for both internal and external communications.
  • Must be able to successfully pass criminal background checks.

Nice To Haves

  • Hosted cloud experience a plus (Azure or AWS)

Responsibilities

  • Working knowledge of Active Directory account management, user permissions, and group policy.
  • Ability to assist in the build and configuration of Windows servers in a physical or virtual setting.
  • Can troubleshoot wired and wireless network components and configure related protocols.
  • Configures, deploys, and maintains standard workstation images for desktops and laptops.
  • Develops desktop strategies and configuration alternatives to best meet customer needs.
  • Architects and implements centralized patch distribution management.
  • Ensures workstation operation system has the latest security updates (Microsoft and non-Microsoft products), service packs, and manages BIOS & driver maintenance.
  • Ability to interact with customers and vendors on the telephone and in person.
  • Provides ongoing hardware and software support for all technologies.
  • Addresses help desk tickets efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Develops and maintains appropriate documentation for the workstation and network environment.
  • Responsible for managing multiple priorities including tickets, projects, and other assigned tasks.
  • Keeps current with technology trends and changes related to position.
