AT&T is seeking motivated students for our Technology Development Program Internship, a 10-12 week immersive summer experience offering hands-on learning in one of three tracks: Data Science Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Software Engineering. Interns will collaborate with industry experts on business-impacting projects, gaining practical skills and exposure to real-world challenges. We’re looking for individuals passionate about technology and eager to innovate, learn, and grow in a dynamic environment. What you’ll do: Software Engineer: Create next-gen technology solutions with user-focused designs. Write clean code, test thoroughly, and refine with user feedback. Use AI to simplify processes, maintain a security-first approach, and collaborate daily with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Node.js is essential for this track. Data Science Engineer: Apply data analysis, AI, and machine learning with a strong software engineering and security mindset to solve business challenges and improve customer satisfaction. Collaborate cross-functionally to turn complex data into actionable insights that boost efficiency and revenue. Proficiency in Python, R, Spark, SQL, and strong communication skills is essential for this track. Systems Engineer: Leverage technical expertise and strategic thinking to enhance AT&T’s network, optimize applications, and deliver value. Collaborate across teams to automate workflows, integrate data platforms, develop tests, and improve system performance with a security-first mindset. Use data skills to communicate insights and drive decisions.

  • Availability to begin full time internship by June 2026.
  • Ability to work on-site at least 5 days per week at the specified office locations.
