If so, you might be the perfect fit for the Technology Center Clerk position at the Salina Public Library. As a member of our Technology Department, you’ll provide high-quality, friendly, and professional support to both staff and patrons. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting patrons with library technology and personal devices, maintaining equipment, and promoting library services. This position is approximately 60% office-based work and 40% hands-on technology support for patrons and staff. To be a part of our library team, a positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to work well with everyone is required. Reports To: Head of Technology Hours/Schedule: Part-Time (2 evenings a week and every other Saturday) Available Hours (split across two positions): Monday-Thursday | 5:45 - 8 p.m. Saturday | 9:45 a.m. - 5 p.m. Availability and preferred shifts will be reviewed during the interview process. Flexibility to work additional hours during the training period would be beneficial. This is a permanent position. Additional days/times as needed for coverage. Schedules are adjusted as needed for the Library. Hours scheduled are based upon service levels.
