About The Position

FIS Management Services LLC seeks Technology Business Consultants II in Jacksonville, FL to work individually or within a team on technology business consulting projects to meet specific client requirements. Act as a liaison between end-users and consultants during consulting software projects. Research and document client software needs, technology or regulations related to system design, enhancements, and required hardware or software that will impact multiple platforms and applications. Define product scope, objectives, and requirements. Analyze system impacts to other systems and procedures. Devise and modify processes and procedures to achieve greater efficiencies and to solve most complex technical problems related to computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Assess available technologies and recommended solutions to consulting team. Write test plans and test cases to ensure enhancements made to applications meet clients’ needs and application integrity is maintained. Conduct system, integration, readiness and acceptance tests utilizing client data to ensure client needs are met. Influence clients, business partners and service providers regarding priorities, hardware and software selection, and vendor selection. Act as team leader for technical aspects of consulting projects, leading sub-plans or small projects. Mentor new hires in the team. Conduct trainings for clients and new hires regarding usage and customization of Front Arena software. Cooperate with clients' developers to support clients' own systems which interfacing with Front Arena. Provide after-hour on call support for emergency production issues based on demand. Conduct code development, regression tests and workflow design work for Front Arena upgrade projects.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Financial Engineering, Financial Mathematics or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation: performing Object Oriented Programming including C#, C++, ADFL, and Python to extend software product and adapt it to client needs
  • utilizing C++ and Python languages to extend software product
  • implementing financial calculations to adapt valuation and risk models
  • Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
  • 10% travel is required to various and unanticipated FIS offices and client sites nationally.
