About the role: Reporting to: US Tech Lead – Markets Technology The Technology Business Analyst – Markets Technology (US) supports the definition, design, and controlled delivery of technology changes required for large client onboarding, integration, and reporting initiatives in the US market. The role will initially focus particularly on programmes where Investran is the core accounting platform and where Aztec must integrate with both its own ecosystem and clients’ broader technology estates. This includes helping define requirements, process flows, data mappings, control points, and acceptance criteria across projects involving Workiva, Aztec Connect, Anaplan, the Aztec Data Platform, GTreasury, FIS Integrity, Snowflake, Databricks, and MuleSoft-enabled interfaces. Requirements

  • Strong analytical and documentation skills with experience in technology or operational change roles.
  • Ability to structure and document complex workflows, data mappings, and business requirements clearly.
  • Good understanding of testing disciplines, controls, and change governance in regulated environments.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.
  • Exposure to private markets operating models and accounting/data processes preferred.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native integration.
  • Familiarity with security protocols (OAuth, JWT, TLS) and data governance.
  • Excellent communication: communicates with clarity and confidence at all levels; adapts style and content to the needs of the audience.
  • Background in agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, etc.).
  • Understanding of delivery metrics, governance frameworks, and performance management.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Typically 3–5+ years’ experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or technology change roles.
  • Private markets experience is essential or prior work with organisations that use Investran.
  • Degree in Finance, Information Systems, Business Analysis, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements for onboarding, migration, reporting, and integration projects.
  • Translate requirements into structured artefacts such as user stories, process maps, functional specifications, data mappings, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with operational users, Client Facing Teams, and technical teams to ensure requirements are complete, practical, and traceable.
  • Define source-to-target mappings for data exchanges between Investran and internal/external platforms.
  • Document operational workflows, control points, exception paths, and approval requirements across onboarding and integration processes.
  • Support analysis of two-way integrations, including inbound and outbound data flows, reconciliations, and interface dependencies.
  • Support the full change lifecycle from requirements through SIT, UAT, and production release.
  • Prepare test scenarios, test scripts, and traceability matrices and support execution of SIT/UAT where required.
  • Ensure documentation and evidence are maintained in line with SOC 1 / ISAE, CAB, and internal change governance requirements.
  • Act as the bridge between operations, client teams, and technology delivery teams.
  • Support workshops with internal stakeholders and, where needed, client teams to refine scope and align on business outcomes.
  • Contribute to onboarding planning, issue resolution, and release readiness discussions.
