You dont need to know every tool on day onebut you do need to enjoy learning them Position Overview: Reporting to the Sr. Director of Technology, the Technology Analyst will work closely with our technology and operations teams to support, analyze, and enhance Valeos core platforms and data-driven workflows. This role is well suited for a recent graduate or early-career professional with a background in computer science, data science, or a related technical discipline who is interested in applying their skills in a real-world enterprise environment. The Technology Analyst will focus on understanding how systems interact, how data flows between platforms, and how automation and tooling can improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency across the firm. This position requires in-person office attendance at our Carmel, Indiana headquarters.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 0 to 3 years of experience through internships, coursework, or professional roles involving software, systems, or data
  • Strong foundation in logical thinking, problem solving, and analytical reasoning
  • Comfort working with data concepts such as structured datasets, data validation, transformations, and basic querying
  • Familiarity with concepts such as APIs, system integrations, automation, or cloud-based platforms preferred
  • Ability to learn new tools and platforms quickly in a complex enterprise environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical ideas to non-technical audiences
  • High attention to detail and interest in building reliable, well-documented solutions
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in financial services or wealth management is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain enterprise systems including CRM platforms, financial applications, and internally developed tools
  • Analyze business workflows and system interactions to identify opportunities for optimization and automation
  • Assist with building and maintaining automated processes that reduce manual effort and improve data consistency
  • Work with structured data across multiple systems to help ensure accuracy, integrity, and reliability
  • Participate in system integrations and data pipelines, supporting testing, validation, and monitoring
  • Write and maintain technical and process documentation for systems, data flows, and configurations
  • Assist with testing efforts including functional testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to troubleshoot issues and support platform enhancements
  • Contribute to technology projects from design and implementation through deployment and adoption
  • Provide analytical and technical support to users as systems evolve
  • Other duties as assigned
