About The Position

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Technology Administrator to support critical systems and data operations for a grocery retail organization, with a focus on the fresh departments (produce, meat, deli, dairy, and bakery). This role will be instrumental in transferring and maintaining data across systems, entering product and vendor information, and ensuring accuracy in pricing, deals, and recipes. The ideal candidate is systems-savvy, meticulous with data entry, and familiar with retail or grocery operations.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field preferred. Relevant certifications also considered.
  • Experience: 3+ years in a data-heavy administrative or operations role; experience in the grocery or retail industry strongly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with grocery retail systems (POS, inventory, or ERP tools). Experience with SQL or basic reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Detail-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of detailed data with accuracy.
  • Organizational Skills: Able to track multiple datasets, priorities, and project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, especially when documenting data changes and working cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain product-level data including SKUs, ingredients, measurements, cost, and pricing into company systems.
  • Transfer large volumes of data from legacy systems to new platforms, ensuring complete accuracy and consistency.
  • Input and track vendor details, loyalty programs, promotional deals, and sales information into internal databases.
  • Support the data setup and maintenance for recipes, including detailed costing and re-costing of products.
  • Scrub and validate datasets to ensure clean, usable information across all systems.
  • Generate basic reports related to pricing, sales, deals, and inventory to support the merchandising and procurement teams.
  • Assist in recosting and updating product information to reflect current market conditions or supplier changes.
  • Work closely with category managers, buyers, and IT/data teams to ensure product data is consistent across departments.
  • Provide regular updates and documentation of data entry processes and system usage.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining operational tools and databases that support grocery operations.
  • Support rollout and testing of new data platforms or software tools related to item setup and vendor management.
