About The Position

As a Technologist, you will play a hands-on role in assembling, operating, and maintaining manufacturing equipment while ensuring product quality, process stability, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements

  • You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience in a production plant, manufacturing site, or similar environment as an individual contributor, performing hands-on equipment setup, operation, assembly, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Your skills include wiring, welding, mechanical and electrical assembly, machine operation, quality inspections, interpreting technical drawings and schematics, root cause analysis, and using computer-based systems for documentation and data analysis.
  • You have a High School Diploma, vocational training, or equivalent education.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Production/Assembler position.
  • You’re an independent, detail-oriented problem solver with strong communication skills, the ability to work under limited supervision, and a continuous improvement mindset, capable of collaborating effectively with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering partners as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and maintain manufacturing and assembly equipment, including wiring, welding, and mechanical assembly repairs, while working under limited supervision.
  • Perform thorough quality checks in line with defined instructions and specifications to ensure products meet stringent quality and compliance standards.
  • Monitor production processes, identify disruptions or deviations, and escalate issues to the Manufacturing Group Leader to minimize downtime and ensure swift resolution.
  • Support pilot runs and new product introductions by aligning and adjusting equipment based on Manufacturing and Research & Development specifications, including interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
  • Maintain detailed production records, conduct root cause investigations using problem-solving tools and data analysis, and propose process improvements to enhance quality, productivity, and the work environment.
