Requirements

  • Experience with high-speed designs such as PCIe, USB, etc…
  • Experience with collaborating with other teams such as Manufacturing, Mechanical, Signal Integrity or third-party design house
  • Expertise in Board Design using industry standard tool such as Allegro
  • Experience with lab bring-up and hardware design validation
  • Experience with control interfaces such as SPI, I2C, etc..
  • Experience with tackling signal integrity issues and board-mounted power design and distribution techniques
  • Experience working with programmable devices such as CPLD & FPGA

Responsibilities

  • Drive internal tester life cycle development from architecture, design implementation, bring-up, debug, qualification, and release to manufacturing.
  • Sustaining support for existing tester platforms and field failure support.
  • Use Cadence/Allegro to capture schematics and guide layout and routing for PCB design.
  • Able to perform PCB layout is a plus
  • Write hardware specifications, develop a test plan, and bring up hardware with other teams.
  • Debug issues in the lab using protocol analyzer and scope.
  • Plan and execute hardware qualification plans, from early prototypes to mass production.
  • Proactively identify risks during the development phase and lead mitigation planning.
  • Improving group working efficiency by initiating and implementing automation through software and tools.
  • Provide design to the leadership team for making critical decisions related to products, infrastructure, and manufacturing processes.
