POSITION SUMMARY: Provides day to day administrative and clinical support to diagnostic technologists and Radiologist in the breast services environment. Shift Details: M - F / 7:30a - 4:30p

Requirements

  • Highschool diploma or GED required
  • CPR
  • Less than 1 year of experience
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to read and interpret medical reports
  • Familiarity with mammography setting
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent customer service, both internal and external
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Self-motivator

Responsibilities

  • Aid in daily clinical space preparation and set up
  • Perform image verification and ensure image availability
  • Obtain and verify all pertinent information for patient visits, including prior imaging
  • Call patients for priors/ baselines/ callbacks/ post biopsy as needed
  • Schedule follow up patient appointments as needed
  • Assist with patient throughput and provide patient support as needed
  • Prepare clinical procedure rooms and paperwork
  • Assist technologists and physicians with clinical procedures as needed
  • Provide post procedural care information and follow up as directed/requested by clinical staff
  • Aid in maintenance of clinical spaces, including housekeeping, clinical supply stocking/inventory, and preparation of medical waste for transport
  • Utilize available clinical application systems as directed to facilitate radiologist and technologist workflows, including scanning and indexing clinical documentation
  • Other duties as assigned
