Our General Arrangement team works on a variety of projects for our agribusiness clients, collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver process flow diagrams, equipment lists and facility layouts for bulk material handling facilities such as feed mills, export terminals and grain elevators. Your role: The Technician works with designers and engineers to provide drawing preparation and drafting support for a variety of projects from concept phase through construction documents.

Requirements

Certificate in construction related design/drafting or higher.
OR at least 1 year of directly related experience.

Responsibilities

Set up plans, sections and details to specified CAD standards under the direction of others.
Identify redlines on drawings created by others and accurately make required changes.
Enhance design skills to support the advancement of technical expertise.
Coordinate plotter maintenance and project archiving as requested.
May require occasional travel to construction job sites.
