DISC Surgery Center is seeking a [classification] Radiologic Technologist for our [location] location. This location specializes in Spine, Orthopedic, and Pain management procedures. In this position, you will: Evaluate radiographs for technical quality and store films according to center policy and guidelines. Maintain documentation, reports, and files according to center policy. Calculate and regulate equipment using the established technique, knowledge, and skill. Knows and practices the principles and procedures of sterile technique. Set up and operate radiation equipment in operating/procedure rooms. Assists physician with imaging procedures. Assists patients with pre and post-procedures according to center policy and established guidelines.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Sterile Processing Technician
  • Certification in Sterile Processing
  • Understanding of sterilization and high-level disinfection technologies, including industry-standardized principles and practices in sterilization and disinfection
  • Current BCLS Certification
  • The ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl and lift
