We are looking for a diligent Level 1 Test Technician for our advanced facility. This role focuses on testing valve assemblies for rocket systems. Responsibilities include conducting and documenting tests, maintaining compliance with standards, and identifying manufacturing defects. Proficiency in vibration, thermal, hydraulic, pneumatic, and cryogenic testing is vital. Special Mentions: Relocation Provided. Day Shift: Monday - Thursday (6am - 4:30pm).

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience as an Environmental Test Technician in manufacturing or aerospace.
  • Basic knowledge of vibration, thermal, hydraulic, pneumatic, and cryogenic testing.
  • Understanding of valve assemblies and their mechanical functions.
  • Familiarity with relevant test equipment and tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Diligent with the ability to maintain detailed documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive tests on valve assemblies according to established plans.
  • Operate testing equipment for various techniques such as vibration and thermal.
  • Install and secure valve assemblies safely.
  • Monitor test parameters to ensure accuracy.
  • Record test results and note any manufacturing defects.
  • Conduct visual inspections and troubleshoot issues during testing.
  • Prepare detailed test reports and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineers and the Quality Control team to improve testing processes.
