Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Technician Specialist to fabricate, assemble, and test complex missile assemblies and subsystems. This role is perfect for detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a hands-on, collaborative environment and are committed to operational excellence. You will play a key role in supporting our missile assembly, testing, and launch preparation processes while continuously improving workflows.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in assembly, integration, or test operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, schematics, engineering drawings, wiring lists, sketches, and related documentation.
  • Willingness to work day or night shift onsite in Courtland, Alabama.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with adhesives and bonding materials.
  • Proficiency in cable harness fabrication and repair.
  • Skilled in soldering techniques.
  • Experience with crane operations, lifting, and handling.
  • Knowledge of missile ground processing life cycle in preparation for launch/mission operations.
  • Familiarity with general test equipment operations and environmental testing.
  • Skilled in standard hand tool use and test/measurement equipment (multi-meters, scales, torque wrenches).
  • Experience in ordnance handling.
  • Completion of AIDT (Alabama Industrial Development Training) program preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, assemble, and test complex assemblies/subsystems into a missile.
  • Inspect and inventory parts to ensure compliance with work instructions and documentation.
  • Verify dimensions and clearances using precision measuring instruments.
  • Align, fit, and assemble parts using hand tools and fixtures.
  • Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate assemblies under simulated operating conditions and record results.
  • Support missile assembly, subsystem testing, environmental testing, and pack & ship operations.
  • Collaborate with engineers and colleagues to identify, define, and solve problems.
  • Participate in team-based Continuous Process Improvement initiatives.
  • Provide and receive work direction within the team as needed.
