About The Position

This is a 2x2x3 schedule working from 5:45 pm to 6:15am Starting at $21/Hour plus 10% night shift differential = $23.10 / Hour Main Responsibilities: Acts as auditor for quality results of Production Department Acts as point of contact for Production Supervisor and Quality Supervisor regarding quality Performs product quality checks every two hours Performs hourly part checks Responsible for use/handling of quality measuring devices Responsible for accurate completion of quality paperwork Audits color and part checks Responsible for saving/scrapping decisions Owns “Red tag process” (marking product of questionable quality). Audits process set points Performs line clearance / first article inspection Generates product package labels for cell Audits label and rate schedule Collects flex samples Maintains standards for product quality-testing areas within plant Qualifications: Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) preferred Experience with ISO9000/QS9000/TS16949 Quality Systems & Auditing, a plus Strong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mathematical abilities Must be able to accurately read quality measuring tools (i.e. caliper, micrometer, square, and tape measure) - preferred Good communication skills Ability to work in a manufacturing environment where temperatures that can become very hot depending on the weather. Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment. Ability and interest in working a 12 hour shift on a 2-2-3 schedule. Requirements

  • Strong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mathematical abilities
  • Must be able to accurately read quality measuring tools (i.e. caliper, micrometer, square, and tape measure) - preferred
  • Good communication skills
