Job Description: Microchip has an opportunity for a Technician IV-Facilities (HVAC) in the Site Services department at Fab 4 in Gresham, Oregon on the back day compressed work week shift (6:00 AM - 6:15 PM, Thu, Fri, Sat, every other Wed). This position will support semiconductor manufacturing at Fab 4. Essential Functions Ensure operation of facilities HVAC and scrubber systems, buildings and equipment within cleanroom quality parameters and environmental discharge permit limitations. Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of HVAC systems. Respond to site HVAC system alarms. Provide support with HVAC configuration and maintenance and maintain associated written documents and reports. Provide timely response and follow-up to all correspondence, maintaining open lines of communication with team members, engineering and management. Assist supervisors in identifying training requirements and safety procedures in assigned areas. Perform additional duties as assigned, assisting other trades as required.
