As a Technician I you are responsible for driving meaningful organizational impact by ensuring accurate production flow decisions, precise material preparation, and documentation practices that uphold quality and compliance standards. Your work strengthens operational efficiency through effective equipment use and cleaning, inventory control, while consistently prioritizing work aligned with departmental goals. Your role reports to the Supervisor, is part of the Formulated Research Products value stream located in Coralville, IA and all work is performed on-site. Shift: Friday – Sunday, 7:00am-7:30pm

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent
  • Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability Exert 20-50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or 10-15 lbs. of force frequently

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree
  • Previous laboratory and/or chemical handling experience

Responsibilities

  • Accurately uses aids and work instructions to make decisions about the proper production flow based on product type or services.
  • Uses a variety of lab equipment process products including limited maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
  • Performs lab cleaning and decontamination protocols in accordance to work instructions and Maintenance Connection software.
