Technician, Field II
About The Position
Overview Summary/objective The Field Technician II will be based inside an automotive repair shop and will assist in the virtual diagnostic scans and calibrations for vehicles involved in collisions. Your ability to effectively manage time and organize resources while also professionally interacting with asTech customers is essential. Serve as primary client contact as needed within the service process Promoting the necessity for diagnostic and calibrations at assigned shop Coordinate and set-up vehicles for a diagnostic scans including required manual diagnostic tests and technical evaluations to assist the remote technician Coordinate and set-up vehicles for calibrations utilizing TruPoint and/or setting up dynamic calibrations Responsible for driving customer or company vehicles for the purpose of delivery, testing or calibration Adhere to all company policy, procedure, safety and environmental rules Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover all possible activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Requirements
- 1 year of experience in the automotive industry at an entry level position and/or as a Lube Technician
- Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) required
- Understanding of automotive industry and various manufacturer acronyms and lingo
- Basic computer skills and understanding of Microsoft Office

- A technical or vocational school participant/graduate preferred
- New car dealership experience is considered a plus
