TRD is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Technician, Engine Build.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in a racing engine environment.
  • Hands-on engine, cylinder head and sub-assembly builds.
  • Deep understanding of internal combustion engines.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with expertise in precise engine build measurements and tooling, including and not limited to clearance, torque, and stretch.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Physical requirements are listed below but not limited to: Standing: Frequent/Intermittent Up to 3 hours per day Walking: Occasionally/Intermittent Up to 3 hours per day Sitting: Occasionally/Intermittent Lifting: Up to 50 lbs., occasionally/Intermittent Carrying: Up to 50 lbs., occasionally/Intermittent Pushing/Pulling: ~100 lbs., occasionally/Intermittent

Responsibilities

  • Build and prepare production race engines for TRD’s race teams.
  • Assemble components according to engineering specifications, following established processes and procedures.
  • Deliver high-quality work, addressing both scheduled and unschooled tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Taking ownership of meticulous attention to detail in both assembly processes and documentation.
  • Update and maintain electronic build books with accurate component information.
  • Support continuous improvement by refining processes and procedures in collaboration with team members.
  • Troubleshoot issues and build technical understanding to resolve challenges effectively.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and tour-ready work area at all times.
