About The Position
As a Field Service Technician II Building Automation Controls Technician here at Honeywell Building Automation (BA), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of building automation systems. You will be accountable for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC, fire, and alarm control systems. Your expertise in building automation controls, including Tridium Niagara systems, will contribute to the overall energy efficiency, sustainability, and productivity of our customers' facilities. You will report to the North America Field Service Manager and travel to the customer sites in the Western region 80% travel. Responsibilities
- Install, program, and maintain building automation systems, including HVAC, fire, and alarm systems automation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to building automation controls.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure the optimal performance of automation systems.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
- Provide technical facilitation and training to customers and field service engineers.
- Travel 80% in the Western United States, Assignments will vary in length from three weeks to six months.
