About The Position

The A/V Technician will be responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance, engineering, and break down of the A/V equipment within the Resort.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of troubleshooting skills with room control, architectural lighting, Digital Audio, and IPTV systems.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • At least three years of experience in audio, video, computers, or lighting on installed systems and/or live events.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Control 4, Q-SYS, and Crestron Certifications or have working experience supporting Control 4, Q-SYS, and Creston systems.
  • Working knowledge with architectural and/ or live sound, lighting, or video systems.
  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.

Responsibilities

  • Support tower guestrooms and suite technology systems which include room controls, digital audio systems, architectural lighting systems, IPTV systems, IP Phone systems, drapes, HVAC, and networks. Perform fault isolation and repair of the complete room technology package.
  • Perform room calls to investigate guest complaints and provide resolution to reported problems.
  • Install, maintain, program, operate, and strike A/V systems within the various resort venues. To include installed systems, and temporary systems on an as needed basis.
  • Ensure equipment is installed according to designated layout.
  • Diagnose and correct AV system problems.
  • Send in equipment for repairs as needed.
  • Ensure all Resorts World core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied.
  • Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.
