About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a 1st Shift Assembly Test Technician to join our Windsor, CT team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent. Technical or vocational training desired.
  • 3 years in aviation maintenance, military or manufacturing.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with substantial acquaintance with and understanding of technical aspects of the job.
  • Experience with mechanical and/or hydraulic assembly work.
  • Work requires the ability to understand and follow instructions, the ability to concentrate and the ability to work as part of a team and get along with others.
  • This position requires strong verbal and written communication skills in addition to attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Builds and assembles components utilizing assembly test procedures, reading blueprints, and following written engineering instructions.
  • Adheres to proper specifications for subassemblies and assemblies by using inspection equipment (OD and ID micrometers, height gages, dial calipers, etc.) and reading blueprints.
  • Tests units in accordance with the Customer's Acceptance Test Procedures and engineering written instructions.
  • Meets productions deadlines by following correct procedures for product completion.
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Ensures product quality by testing assembled parts utilizing specifications and quality control procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
