About The Position

This is a 12-month structured, hands-on training program designed for mechanically inclined individuals to become high-earning Field Service Technicians. Participants will work, learn, and earn from day one, gaining hands-on training in the shop and in the field, direct mentorship from experienced technicians, real-world troubleshooting and repair experience, and industry certifications. Upon successful completion, apprentices will transition into an independent, field-based technician role with a company truck, gas card, and competitive hourly pay plus overtime. Requirements

  • Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience (automotive, equipment, construction, etc.)
  • Willingness to work in the field and travel to customer locations
  • Strong work ethic and desire to learn quickly
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in various positions
  • Basic tools (or willingness to acquire them)

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on training in the shop and in the field
  • Direct mentorship from experienced technicians
  • Real-world troubleshooting and repair experience
  • Safety training & equipment operation
  • Preventative maintenance basics
  • Introduction to electrical, hydraulic, steering, and traction systems
  • Ride-alongs with experienced technicians
  • LP systems & transmission repair
  • Battery, charger, and electrical diagnostics
  • Working on a variety of forklift types and specialty equipment
  • Increasing hands-on responsibility in real service calls
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and equipment (upon program completion)
  • Work independently at customer sites (upon program completion)
