About The Position

The role

Performs Aircraft Component maintenance (inspect, test, repair, overhaul) based on customer requirements and component condition.
Performs additional duties as directed by management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required and a technical school certificate (A&P License) or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical documents.
• Must be able to read and comprehend english

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe work habits at all times
• Comply with ALL regulatory agency (OSHA, EPA, FAA, etc.) requirements
• Meet/exceed operations productivity and efficiency standards
• Champion Continuous Improvement, LEAN, 6S, etc.
• Perform maintenance repairs/overhauls on assigned components
• Complete cleaning tasks on assigned components
• Complete inspection requirements on assigned components
• Complete test requirements on assigned components
• Communicate/research problem situations that cannot be remedied within assigned sections
• Ensure cleanliness of assigned work area and test areas
• Verify unit performance by conducting test runs
• Assist with training and development of SR Technicians, and Technicians
• Other duties as assigned
