Technical Writer

At ProMach, we are seeking a Technical Writer (Validation Documentation) for Weiler Labeling Systems, who will play a crucial role in the creation of documentation necessary for the validation of machinery supplied to our customers in the pharmaceutical industry. With over 30 years of experience, Weiler Labeling Systems has been at the forefront of designing, manufacturing, integrating, and supporting advanced rotary and in-line labeling solutions. Our clientele includes some of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in the United States and beyond, and we take pride in our commitment to improving packaging performance and efficiency every day. In this position, you will be responsible for creating all support documents for the validation of equipment based on customer-supplied User Requirements Specifications. This includes developing Functional Design Specifications, Hardware Design Specifications, Software Design Specifications, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) documents, Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA), Traceability Matrices, and Installation Qualification/Operational Qualification documents. You will interface with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering groups, as well as sales staff and customers, to fully understand the scope of projects. Additionally, you will participate in pre-FAT activities to ensure that all machine tests are written properly and that the machine functions as described.
