About The Position

The Technical Writing & Documentation team creates engaging and informative technical content, particularly our public product documentation: Datadog Docs. Our team is hands-on with the technologies that Datadog monitors and collaborates with technical and product teams to create technical documentation for our APIs, SDKs, developer and security tools, and community developed integrations — thousands of pages of content! What You’ll Do: Partner with our product and engineering teams to manage documentation projects and create public user documentation for observability and automation products used by developers. Gather technical details for public documentation by reviewing internal product materials and hands-on testing of products. Create developer-facing documentation and guides for Datadog SDKs, APIs, and developer tools to enable the developer community to onboard and succeed with our products. Collaborate with the documentation team to help maintain documentation standards and contribute to ongoing process improvements. Participate in a business-hours interrupt-handling rotation to respond to documentation questions, requests, and issues as they come up. Review and provide editorial feedback on documentation written by others to help maintain quality and consistency.
