We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Sales Training team as a Technical Writing intern. As a Technical Writing intern, you will gain hands-on experience creating training materials and supporting employee learning initiatives within a corporate environment. This role offers exposure to instructional content development, knowledge transfer, and process documentation while collaborating with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders. In this role, you will help develop training content for the STIHL Certification LMS, translate technical input from subject matter experts into clear instructional materials, and support documentation of onboarding and continuous learning processes for employees.

Requirements

  • Academic Year: Junior, Senior
  • Area of Study: English, Journalism, Technical writing, Instructional Design, Communications
  • Software Experience: MS Office, Learning Management System tools, Adobe Creative Cloud

Responsibilities

  • Develop training content for STIHL Certification LMS courses
  • Convert subject matter expert (SME) input into clear, accurate instructional materials
  • Create and maintain scripts and workflow documentation
  • Assist with formalizing and documenting onboarding and continuous learning processes for department employees
  • Support knowledge-sharing and training standardization initiatives
