About The Position
We're seeking an outstanding technical writer and executive communications professional with broad communications experience to promote greater awareness and understanding of the differentiation and value of IBM's software to target audiences. This includes strategic planning, message building (tailoring level of technical depth by audience), and preparing the senior executive for all engagements. Reporting into the IBMer Communications team, you will work with leaders to curate and create software-led storytelling for developers, tech enthusiasts, AI superfans, and C-suite decision makers. To be successful you must live and breathe AI, obsess over precision and clarity, and have the ability to develop, customize and communicate IBM's software value to target audiences. You're endlessly curious, learning new technical concepts and software products quickly and can turn complex ideas into appropriate messages for each audience. This role requires a minimum three days of in-office at IBM's San Francisco, CA, office -- or IBM's Silicon Valley Software Lab in San Jose, CA, depending on executive travel -- providing a blend of personal flexibility access to leadership and a thriving in-office environment.
