PSI Pax, Inc has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Writer to support an opportunity for our customer located in Dahlgren, VA.

Requirements

• Three (3) years' experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis or financial/cost analysis.
• Three (3) years of experience providing support to a technical writer/editor, with the ability to communicate orally and in writing to personnel at all levels.
• Ability to ensure technical documents meet unique program requirements and ability to edit documents to best communicate importance.
• Excellent proficiency in verbal and oral communication with personnel of all levels.
• Experience in word processing applications, Microsoft Suite and automated database systems.
• Secret (Interim Clearances acceptable). Candidate selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to a technical writer/editor.
• Draft, edit, and prepare final copy of official U.S. Navy correspondence IAW SECNAV M-5216.5, Department of the Navy Correspondence Manual.
• Develop, write, and edit material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications concerned with work methods and procedures.
