About The Position

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the technical training strategy for both customers and employees. The Technical Training Manager designs and delivers engaging, hands-on, and digital learning experiences that empower users to confidently sell, install, troubleshoot, and support complex products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess training needs, develop innovative content, and conduct a wide range of training events, from small in-field sessions to large-scale webinars and industry seminars. This position combines creativity, technical expertise, and leadership to enhance knowledge, skills, and performance across the organization while staying ahead of industry trends. You will also manage content for online platforms and ensure consistency and quality in all training materials.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in a related discipline or equivalent industry experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical field, with preference given to candidates in the pool, spa, or similar industries
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation expertise
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams
  • High proficiency in training and content creation software, including PowerPoint, Articulate, Photoshop, Illustrator, and audio/video editing tools
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering engaging, hands-on training programs for diverse audiences
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and events simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain technical training content for customers and employees, including troubleshooting guides, quick reference cards, how-to videos, and presentation materials
  • Design and deploy training simulators and interactive materials for hands-on learning experiences
  • Plan, organize, and deliver training events across multiple formats, including classroom, in-field, webinar, and large-scale industry events
  • Collaborate with field staff, product management, engineering, HR, IT, and marketing to identify training needs and develop effective learning solutions
  • Manage online registration and logistics for training events, ensuring smooth execution of large-group sessions
  • Continuously explore new training strategies, technologies, and methods to enhance learning outcomes
  • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to anticipate training opportunities and maintain cutting-edge program offerings
