About The Position

Main Duties & Responsibilities Primary Job Role Perform instructor led courses for Regional Dealer Learning Center, Ring Power employees and Ring Power customers. Develop and update training material on technical and industry specific subject matter. Attain and update all training credentials required by Caterpillar to maintain status as qualification for technical instructor. Ensure viable work space within classroom, electric and engine labs. Update, maintain and repair assets relating to instructor lead courses when necessary. Attend specific training courses or complete certifications and curriculum as required to deliver course content as an instructor. Travel regionally to deliver or attend instructor led training and conferences. Voluntarily participate in customer overseas training requests. Update and maintain training records for Regional Dealer Learning Center, Ring Power participants and customers in EDGE and CAT DCP. At the request of the technical coordinator, assist field personnel on diagnostic issues whenever possible. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 5-6 years Required / Credentials Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional licensing in a related field ( Master/ License accredited through state).
  • Certification in related field ( EGSA Journeyman License).
  • Manufacturer's Factory Training ( Caterpillar RDLC training CEP II or greater).
  • Computer skills, Microsoft power point, Excel and Windows based operating system.
  • Technical Training (electronic or diesel college, Think Big).
  • Communication and Presentation skills, ability to deliver content effectively.
  • Updating of Knowledge Job requirements change requiring re-training to stay current every 1-2 years.
